Wind and Baseball do NOT mix

It never fails.....When we have a nice day temp wise it is windy.  I guess since were in Kansas where its always windy it would be out of character if it wasn't windy.  Since we haven't had any moisture the windy blows the dirt off of our infield.  Normally we would water the infield but since we play at a city park, the city decides when the water gets turned on.  Oh well, we are hoping for a move to a new field in the future.

    too bad you are at the city's mercy. The wind in Wichita is brutal!! Hold on to your hat!!

    Funny thing you talk about Chicago being the windy city. I have only been there once and it was not windy the entire week I was there. I have a student-athlete that plays for me from Chicago. He is always complaining about the wind in Wichita.
